Our Assessment: The Model 27-2 is the quintessential .357 Magnum revolver, built on the beefy N-frame and featuring the desirable pinned barrel and recessed chambers. This example, with its factory nickel finish and 3.5" barrel, and target hammer & trigger, is one of the most balanced and sought-after configurations. Whether you’re a collector of vintage S&W wheelguns or a shooter looking for one of the finest production revolvers ever made, this 27-2 delivers classic style and Magnum power.
